Very true. My top five would probably be Wall-e, Ratatouille, Finding Nemo, Inside Out, and Toy Story.
We both put Ratatouille and Nemo quite high. I just didn’t connect with Wall-E the way a lot of people did. Like Winter Soldier, it lost the courage of its convictions half way through.
Interesting, I would say that Wall-e gets better halfway through, once they leave Earth. It definitely feels like two different movies, though.
Hmmm! I’m a before they leave Earth guy. I loved all the silent storytelling stuff so was turned off when that got dropped in favour of the more conventional animated hi-jinks.

By contrast, I loved it when Peter Quill left Earth.
