Welcome to my film blog

Hi and thank you for showing interest in my film blog. I wish I had the time to make it a fully comprehensive database but as it is it will just be my thoughts on the new films I see and the occasional older film that I think merits comment.

I will also be sharing my thoughts on a film’s suitability for children if it is a 12A because hopefully that will be helpful.

To help you decide whether my opinion is worth your time here, in no particular order, are my favourite films, all of which will get their own entry at some stage:

  1. Would enjoy reading your reviews of those favourite flicks, I certainly agree with; Casablanca, The Birds (was it your final exam choice??), The Princess Bride and The Empire Strikes Back – will have to check out some of the others if their reviews look good enough….

  2. Thank you Fiona, that is a really nice idea and I will enjoy doing it. I will get to it between viewings of new films. I do have an essay somewhere that I wrote on The Birds while I was at University but it would be very heavy on the sexual psychology and I’m intending to keep this family friendly.

    1. That is amazing, thank you so much. I am all set to tag you in my post on The Lone Ranger later on this week and now it will look like I’m doing it in response to this. This is greatly appreciated. The link is not working on my iPad but I will fire up the laptop tomorrow and have a look at it then.

      1. It’s my pleasure! I really enjoy reading your blog. I’m looking forward to your post on The Lone Ranger! Let me know if you can’t get the link to work.
