Yeah, lots of people have picked me up on putting Winter Soldier so low. I really liked it but I felt it would have been so much better if they’d stuck with the conspiracy thriller thing a little longer. It was pretty clear who you could and couldn’t trust pretty early on.

That’s very true, the conspiracy aspect was abandoned pretty quickly. Still, it didn’t bother me.
I think it was a much bigger film for Marvel fans than everyone else too. Clearly I am a Marvel fan but you’ve got to have wide appeal.
That is 100% true. It had a huge impact on the MCU, but the casual viewer probably doesn’t care about that. Good point.
It still think Cap is the best character though.
